 PADI Freediver Instructor Training

Take your freediving to the professional level and learn how to safely and confidently teach others. The PADI Freediver Instructor Training Course develops experienced freedivers into competent instructors who can introduce students to freediving, develop their skills and manage freediver training safely.

Training combines instructor-level knowledge with practical teaching development in both confined and open water environments.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for experienced freedivers who want to turn their knowledge and passion for freediving into professional teaching skills.

It is ideal if you want to:

  • Teach PADI freediving courses professionally
  • Develop stronger teaching, coaching and presentation skills
  • Learn how to manage freediver students safely
  • Build a career in freediving instruction
  • Add professional freediving instruction to an existing diving career

What will you learn?

The course develops both your freediving ability and your ability to teach freediving effectively.

Instructor candidates work on:

  • Instructor-level freediving knowledge
  • PADI Freediver standards and procedures
  • Planning and organising freediver training
  • Conducting effective student briefings and debriefings
  • Teaching and presenting freediving concepts
