PADI Snorkel Guide Course Cape Town

Become a professionally trained snorkel guide and learn how to safely plan, organise and lead guided snorkelling excursions.

The PADI Snorkel Guide Course is designed for people who want to work professionally as snorkel guides, lead organised snorkelling activities, or add a recognised snorkel-guiding qualification to their existing ocean experience.

The programme is ISO 13970 compliant and develops the knowledge, watermanship, rescue ability and practical guiding skills needed to safely supervise snorkellers in the marine environment.

Who is this course for?

The PADI Snorkel Guide Course is ideal for:

  • People who want to work professionally as snorkel guides
  • Freedivers, scuba divers and other experienced ocean users wanting to expand their qualifications
  • Adventure-tourism and marine-tourism staff
  • Guides working with schools, youth groups or nature-based activities
  • Operators who require appropriately trained staff to lead snorkelling excursions
  • Anyone wanting formal training in snorkelling supervision, safety and rescue

You do not need to be a scuba-diving professional to begin the PADI Snorkel Guide pathway.
